The Silenced
''The Silenced'' (; lit. ''Gyeongseong School: The Lost Girls'') is a 2015 South Korean mystery- thriller film written and directed by Lee Hae-young, starring Park Bo-young and Uhm Ji-won. Plot Set in Gyeongseong in 1938 during the Japanese occupation, the film centers on Ju-ran/ Shizuko (Park Bo-young), a sickly young girl who gets transferred to a sanatorium/girls' boarding school to recover her health. The Buil Film Awards () is a South Korean film awards ceremony hosted by the ''Busan Ilbo'' newspaper. It began in 1958 as one of the earliest film awards in the country. During the 1950s and 1960s, it was the biggest film awards event in the Busan region, and was held annually until 1973. The event went into a 34-year hiatus from 1974 to 2007 when the film industry lost its appeal due to government censorship and the burgeoning television industry. ''Seo Bok'' () is a 2021 South Korean sci-fi action film directed by Lee Yong-ju and starring Gong Yoo and Park Bo-gum. The film revolves around a former intelligence agent Gi-heon (Gong Yoo), who gets involved with the first human clone, Seo Bok (Park Bo-gum). Principal photography began in May 2019.
