"The Song of the Walloons" ( wa, Li tchant des Walons; french: Le Chant des Wallons) is the regional anthem of Wallonia in Belgium. The original lyrics were written by Théophile Bovy in 1900 in the Walloon language. A year later, it was set to music composed by Louis Hillier. An anthem is a musical composition of celebration, usually used as a symbol for a distinct group, particularly the national anthems of countries.
