Lancia Musa
The Lancia Musa (Type 350) is a five-passenger compact MPV manufactured by Fiat, and marketed by the company's Lancia subdivision for model years 2004 through to 2012. A front-engine, front-wheel-drive, five-door design and a modified variant of the Fiat Idea, the Musa also employs the ''Project 188'' platform, originally used for the second generation Fiat Punto. Background The Musa design, an adaption of the Fiat Idea by Fabrizio Giugiaro, was initially supervised by Flavio Manzoni and subsequently Marco Tencone. It debuted at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show and deliveries began in Europe in October of the same year. Flavio Manzoni
Flavio Manzoni (born 7 January 1965 in Nuoro, Sardinia) is an Italian architect and automobile designer. He is the Senior Vice President of Design at Ferrari from January 2010 and he has led in the creation of many Ferrari models including the Ferrari F12berlinetta, in collaboration with Pininfarina; LaFerrari, the first hybrid of the little horse, also born from his pencil, and in 2014 he gained the Compasso d'Oro for the F12berlinetta project (together with Pininfarina and Ferrari Style Center). He made (with Alberto Dilillo) the Lancia Fulvia Coupé concept presented in 2003 at the automobile exhibition of Francoforte, for the Lancia Ypsilon and Lancia Musa who won the "European Automotive Design Award". Alcantara is the brand name of a common synthetic textile material. It has a soft, suede-like microfibre pile and is noted for its durability. The Geneva International Motor Show is an annual auto show held in March in the Swiss city of Geneva. The show is hosted at the Palexpo, a convention centre located next to the Geneva Cointrin International Airport. Marco Tencone
Marco Tencone (born 1967) is an Italian automotive and industrial designer, known for his design of Lancia concept cars. Career Tencone has previously been with the Pininfarina design company, developing designs for car makers such as Honda and Ferrari, as well as other industrial manufacturers such as the French maker of motoring boats, Beneteau. His superior at Pininfarina was Enrico Fumia (born 1948), and when he in 1992 became the director of the new ''Centro Stile'' Lancia design group, Tencone joined him there. Under Michael Vernon Robinson (born 1956) he did the Lancia Dialogos in 1996, which became the Lancia Thesis production car, and he subsequently became the exterior chief designer of Lancias.
