Marco Tencone
Marco Tencone (born 1967) is an Italian automotive and industrial designer, known for his design of Lancia concept cars. Career Tencone has previously been with the Pininfarina design company, developing designs for car makers such as Honda and Ferrari, as well as other industrial manufacturers such as the French maker of motoring boats, Beneteau. His superior at Pininfarina was Enrico Fumia (born 1948), and when he in 1992 became the director of the new ''Centro Stile'' Lancia design group, Tencone joined him there. Under Michael Vernon Robinson (born 1956) he did the Lancia Dialogos in 1996, which became the Lancia Thesis production car, and he subsequently became the exterior chief designer of Lancias. The 2002 Fulvia concept was his, under the direction of Flavio Manzoni (born 1965) who in 2010 went to Ferrari as design director. Lancia
Lancia () is an Italian car manufacturer and a subsidiary of FCA Italy S.p.A., which is currently a Stellantis division. The present legal entity of Lancia was formed in January 2007 when its corporate parent reorganised its businesses, but its history is traced back to ''Lancia & C.'', a manufacturing concern founded in 1906 in Torino by Vincenzo Lancia (1881–1937) and Claudio Fogolin. It became part of Fiat in 1969. The brand is known for its strong rallying heritage, and technical innovations such as the unibody chassis of the 1922 Lambda and the five-speed gearbox introduced in the 1948 Ardea. The Lancia Fulvia (Tipo 818) is an automobile produced by Lancia between 1963 and 1976. Named after Via Fulvia, the Roman road leading from Tortona to Turin, it was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 and manufactured in three variants: Berlina 4-door saloon, 2-door Coupé, and Sport, an alternative fastback coupé designed and built by Zagato on the Coupé floorpan. Fulvias are noted for their role in motorsport history, including a 1972 win of the International Rally Championship. The Alfa Romeo Giulia (Type 952) is a compact executive car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo. It was unveiled in June 2015, with market launch scheduled for February 2016, and it is the first saloon offered by Alfa Romeo after the production of the 159 ended in 2011. The Giulia is also the first mass-market Alfa Romeo vehicle in over two decades to use a longitudinal rear-wheel drive platform, since the 75 which was discontinued in 1992. The Maserati Alfieri is a grand tourer from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati. It was shown as a concept car at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Concept __NOTOC__ The car is named after Alfieri Maserati (1887–1932), one of the five Maserati Brothers, and marks the 100 year anniversary of the carmaker, which was established in 1914 at Bologna. It was developed at the Centro Stile FCA in Turin. The chief designer was Marco Tencone, while the exterior chief designer was Giovanni Ribotta. The project was managed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, who has been the director of ''Centro Stile'' since 2007 and in 2014 was the head of Fiat-Chrysler Global Design. Gruppo Bertone, commonly known as Bertone, was an Italian industrial design company which specialized in car styling, coachbuilding and manufacturing. It formerly was also a car manufacturing company. Bertone styling was distinctive, with most cars having a strong "family resemblance" even if they were badged by different manufacturers. Bertone had styled cars for Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, BMW, Citroën, Ferrari, FIAT, Iso, Lancia, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, and Volvo, among others.
