Alana Del Mar Gómez (born 31 July 2001), better known as Lalah is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter who released her first single in 2020. Her background includes collaboration with artists such as Tommy Torres and Christian Daniel. Musical career Early years Alana Del Mar Gómez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and raised in Comerío, Puerto Rico. She began her professional singing career at the age of 14 as a backup vocalist for Puerto Rican pop singer-songwriter Christian Daniel. She auditioned for '' La Voz Kids'' in 2014 with the song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot". Comerío () is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico in the center-eastern region of island, north of Aibonito; south of Naranjito and Bayamón; east of Barranquitas; and west of Cidra and Aguas Buenas. Christian Daniel (born March 20, 1984) is a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and actor. Early life Daniel was born in 1984 in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, to a Puerto Rican mother and a Cuban father from Pinar del Río, Cuba. Career Daniel is a singer-songwriter. At the age of 17, Daniel recorded his first demo with vocal coach Socky Torres. He sent demos to several recording companies until Emilio Estefan invited him to Miami to record his début album, ''Christian Daniel'' (2007). "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" is a song recorded by American rock singer Pat Benatar and written by Eddie Schwartz. In 1980, it was released as the second single from her second album ''Crimes of Passion'', which became her biggest-selling album.
