La Pau (Barcelona Metro)
La Pau is a Barcelona metro station located in the neighbourhood of the same name, in the Sant Martí district. The station is located underground of Carrer Guipúscoa and Carrer Ca n'Oliva. It was opened in , serving then as the terminus of L4, which had just been extended to La Pau from Selva de Mar. In it became the northern terminus of L2, which had formerly been in Sagrada Família. After several modifications on both lines, it has finally become the north-eastern terminus of L4, which is currently undergoing a substantial extension towards the future Sagrera railway station. The Barcelona Metro (Catalan and Spanish: ) is an extensive network of rapid transit electrified railway lines that run mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the (ATM) scheme. As of 2014, the network is operated by two separate companies: (TMB) and (FGC). It is made up of 12 lines, combining the lines owned by the two companies. La Verneda I La Pau
La Verneda i la Pau is the northernmost neighborhood of the '' Sant Martí'' district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It borders the neighboring municipality of Sant Adrià de Besòs. Until the 1950s, most of its area was occupied by fields with some '' masies'' (such as ''Can Planas'', ''Ca l'Arnó'', ''Can Riera'' or ''Can Cadena'') spread over it. Like most of Barcelona's suburbs, such as L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona, Santa Coloma de Gramenet or Sant Adrià de Besòs, La Verneda also saw a dramatic population increase during the following years (specially in the 1960s), resulting in a rapid construction of significantly high buildings and a lack of basic services. Sant Martí (), is a district of Barcelona located on its eastern side, usually numbered 10 out of the ten districts of the city. It borders the Mediterranean Sea, Sant Adrià del Besòs and four other districts of the city: Ciutat Vella, l'Eixample, Horta-Guinardó and Sant Andreu. It did not become an integral part of Barcelona until as late as 1897, having been an autonomous village since 1714 with the imposition of the infamous Nueva Planta decrees. Selva de Mar is a Barcelona Metro and Trambesòs station located in Poblenou, Sant Martí district, Barcelona. It's located under carrer de Pujades, between carrer de Provençals (where the step-free entrance is located) and carrer de Selva de Mar - where the alternative entrance is. The metro station, served by L4, was opened in as part of the elongation of the line from Barceloneta. The tramway station is a 2004 addition, opened that year along with other stations in the T4 route.
