La Gantoise HC
La Gantoise HC, also known as Gantoise is a Belgian sports club based in Ghent, Brussels. The club is most well known for its field hockey section with both the first men's and women's teams playing in the Belgian Hockey League. The Gantoise women are the current title holders in the Belgian Hockey League, as well as the EuroHockey Club Trophy. History While La Gantoise was originally founded in 1864, the hockey section was not formed until 1914. The first edition of the Belgian Hockey League, known simply as 'The Championship' at the time, was held following the conclusion of World War One. La Gantoise placed well, finishing in fourth place, only to win the following year. At the club's 100th anniversary, in 1964, La Gantoise had 150 members, forming 10 teams. The club continued to grow, eventually forming women's teams, who reached the top level of Belgian hockey in 2003. Blaise Rogeau
Blaise Antonie Rogeau (born 26 November 1994) is a French field hockey player who plays as a forward for Belgian Hockey League club Waterloo Ducks and the French national team. Club career Rogeau was crowned French champions four times with Saint Germain. He left France in 2019 to play for Gantoise in Belgium. After reaching the final of the Belgian championship with Gantoise in 2022 he joined the Waterloo Ducks. International career Under–21 Blaise Rogeau debuted for the France U–21 team in 2014, at the EuroHockey Junior Championship in Waterloo. In all, he represented France U-21 in five games. Martín Ignacio Ferreiro (born 21 October 1997) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for German Bundesliga club Crefelder HTC and the Argentine national team. Club career Ferreiro played for Lomas in Argentina until 2019. He joined Pinoké in the Dutch Hoofdklasse for the 2019–20 season.
