The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the French basketball league system, 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987. The regular season champion and the winner of the promotion playoffs from each Pro B season are promotion and relegation, promoted to the French basketball league system, top-tier level LNB Pro A, replaced by the bottom two teams in Pro A. The two last placed teams are relegated to the third level, which is the Nationale Masculine 1, NM1. Jason Siggers (born August 24, 1985) is an American professional basketball player for Hapoel Haifa of the Israel Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for New Mexico Junior College and University at Albany before playing professionally in Denmark, Switzerland, France, Israel and South Korea. Amin Khalil Stevens (born October 26, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Kiryat Ata of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Jeunesse Laïque de Bourg-en-Bresse, commonly known as JL Bourg or simply Bourg, is a basketball club based in Bourg-en-Bresse, France that plays in the Pro A. Stade Olympique Maritime Boulonnais, commonly known as SOMB, is a French professional basketball club based in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. The team currently plays in the French third division, the Nationale Masculine 1. History SOMB was founded on 5 September 1935. In the first years, basketball remained dormant in the club; the first games were played in the 1939–40 season. After a stop of activities during World War II, the team became an official FFBB team in 1945. In 1953 the club started its bigger development: youth teams were added and the first team played in the national Second Division.
