Amin Stevens
Amin Khalil Stevens (born October 26, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Kiryat Ata of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Before his professional career, he played college basketball for Florida A&M. In 2013 he won the Slovak Basketball Cup with MBK Rieker Komárno. In 2017, he was named the Úrvalsdeild Foreign Player of the Year after leading the league in scoring and rebounds. High school Stevens played basketball at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School in Atlanta, Georgia. In his senior season he averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. He was named All-State, All-Region, to the NACA All-tournament team, the conference's Most Valuable Player, the Regional Tournament Most Valuable Player, and the Garden City Classic Most Valuable Player. Forward (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Eurobasket
EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. The competition was first held in 1935. The former Soviet Union holds the record for most gold medals with a total of 14. The Ligue nationale de basket (LNB; English: National Basketball League) is the governing body of men's professional club basketball in France. 2017–18 Pro B Season
The 2017–18 Pro B season was the 31st season of the Pro B, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). Blois won its first league title. Teams Promotion and relegation Orléans Loiret and SLUC Nancy entered the league after they relegated from the 2016–17 Pro A season. UJAP Quimper 29 and Caen Basket Calvados were promoted from the 2016–17 NM1 season. Regular season In the regular season, teams play against each other home-and-away in a round-robin format. The 2016–17 Úrvalsdeild karla was the 66th season of the Úrvalsdeild karla, the top tier men's basketball league in Iceland. The season started on 6 October 2016 and ended on 30 April 2017. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the French basketball league system, 2nd-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987.
