Kirill Mikhanovsky is a Russian-American director, screenwriter, editor, and producer, best known for directing the critically acclaimed 2019 American comedy drama ''Give Me Liberty''. Biography Mikhanovsky grew up in Moscow. While attending the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where he majored in linguistics, Mikhanovsky drove medical transport for disabled people. Around that time, Mikhanovsky wrote and directed a short film, ''Terra, Terra''. While in the NYU Grad Film Program Mikhanovsky studied directing under Boris Frumin. Career Mikhanovsky made his directorial debut with '' Sonhos de Peixe'', shot with non-actors in a fishing village in the Northeast of Brazil. The Golden Unicorn Awards are a set of awards for artistic excellence in film which recognises achievements of Russian cinematography and international film-makers creating Russian-themed films. Biography Levan Koguashvili was born in 1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He began his studies at the State Institute of Film and Theatre in Tbilisi, and then worked as a journalist for independent television after civil war broke out in Georgia. Andrij Parekh (born September 20, 1971) is an American cinematographer and television director. Early life Parekh was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts of Ukrainian and Indian descent. Parekh went to high school in Minnesota at The Blake School and attended Carleton College, where he graduated in 1995 with a degree in sociology/anthropology and a minor in media studies. He went on to study cinematography at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (MFA, 2001) and the FAMU film school in Prague.
