Katja Adler
Katja Adler (born 20 May 1974) is a German politician from the Free Democratic Party. Early life Adler was born in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg. Her parents are of German Jewish origin. Political career At the 2021 German federal election, Adler unsuccessfully contested Hochtaunus, but was elected to the Bundestag on the state list. Free Democratic Party (Germany)
The Free Democratic Party (german: link=no, Freie Demokratische Partei; FDP, ) is a liberal political party in Germany. The FDP was founded in 1948 by members of former liberal political parties which existed in Germany before World War II, namely the German Democratic Party and the German People's Party. For most of the second half of the 20th century, the FDP held the balance of power in the Bundestag. Eisenhüttenstadt
Eisenhüttenstadt (literally "ironworks city" in German; , dsb, Pśibrjog) is a town in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg, Germany, on the border with Poland. East Germany founded the city in 1950. It was known as Stalinstadt (''Stalinměsto'') between 1953 and 1961. Geography The municipal area is situated on a sandy terrace in the Berlin-Warsaw glacial valley (''Urstromtal''). Hochtaunus
Hochtaunus is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 176. It is located in southwestern Hesse, comprising most of Hochtaunuskreis and the northeastern part of the Limburg-Weilburg district. Hochtaunus was created for the inaugural 1949 federal election.
