Karuppu Nila
''Karuppu Nila'' () is a 1995 Tamil-language action film directed R. Aravindraj. The film stars Vijayakanth, Ranjitha and Khushbu, with M. N. Nambiar, Kazan Khan, R. Sundarrajan, Major Sundarrajan, S. S. Chandran, Srividya and P. C. Ramakrishna playing supporting roles. The film, produced by A. S. Ibrahim Rowther, was released on 15 January 1995. Ibrahim Rowther
Ibrahim Rowther was an Veteran Indian film producer and writer who had worked on Tamil language films. He produced films under the studios Rowther Films, Tamilannai Cine Creation and IV Cine International. Career Ibrahim Rowther launched his first film, ''Uzhavan Magan'' in 1987 to promote his friend Vijayakanth as an actor in the Tamil film industry. Vijayakanth subsequently garnered several bigger offers, and regularly collaborated with Ibrahim during his acting career. In the late 1990s, Ibrahim took up a key administrative role in the Tamil Film Producers Council and later served as its president. His production house, Rowther Films, began to flail in the late 1990s and films such as K.Paarthasarathy's ''Unakkum Enakkum Kalyanam'' featuring Livingston and Devayani were put on hold. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture.
