Karel Freja
Karel Freja (17 November 1877 – 30 April 1937) was a Czech footballer who played as a forward. Early life Karel Freja was born on 17 November 1877 in the Old Town of Prague. He spent the period between 1888 and 1899 studying at the grammar school. He attended the Municipal High School, which was located in a beautiful building in today's Hellichová (then Novodvorská) Street in Malá Strana. Even as a high school student, Karel Freja took part in progressive events. Being active in the progressive movement caused Freja serious problems at school. National newspapers later wrote about him after the First World War: "he was already at the gymnasium on four with a disciplinary order for activity in the progressive movement." Old Town (Prague)
The Old Town of Prague ( cs, Staré Město pražské, german: Prager Altstadt) is a medieval settlement of Prague, Czech Republic. It was separated from the outside by a semi-circular moat and wall, connected to the Vltava river at both of its ends. The moat is now covered up by the streets (from north to south-west) Revoluční, Na Příkopě, and Národní—which remain the official boundary of the cadastral community of Old Town. Bohemia
Bohemia ( ; cs, Čechy ; ; hsb, Čěska; szl, Czechy) is the westernmost and largest historical region of the Czech Republic. Bohemia can also refer to a wider area consisting of the historical Lands of the Bohemian Crown ruled by the Bohemian kings, including Moravia and Czech Silesia, in which case the smaller region is referred to as Bohemia proper as a means of distinction. New Town (Prague)
The New Town ( cs, Nové Město) is a quarter in the city of Prague in the Czech Republic. New Town is the youngest and largest of the five independent (from the Middle Ages until 1784) towns that today comprise the historic center of modern Prague. New Town was founded in 1348 by Charles IV just outside the city walls to the east and south of the Old Town and encompassed an area of 7.5 km²; about three times the size of the Old Town. The population of Prague in 1378 was well over 40,000, perhaps as much as twice that, making it the 4th most populated city north of the Alps and, by area, the 3rd largest city in Europe. ČAFC Prague is a Czech football club located in Prague- Záběhlice. It currently plays in the Prague Championship, which is in the fifth tier of the Czech football system.
