Kunshan Senior High School
Kunshan Senior High School is one of the four-star high schools in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It is located in Kunshan, which is a county-level city under Suzhou. Kunshan Senior High School is in the downtown, right beside the only hill in Kunshan – Ma'an Hill, so it's rather easy to get there from every corner of the city. After the transformation of the campus in 2001, the campus now covers an area of 130 acres and has a construction area of over 86,000 square meters. History It was first established in 1946, with a history of 65 years. The first president is Chen Qike. At that time, it was named Dongfanghong Middle School. Later on, the school was renamed as Kunshan Senior High School. In 1980, it was listed as one of the key schools by the government of Jiangsu province. High School

Jiangsu Province

Kunshan
Kunshan is a county-level city in southeastern Jiangsu province with Shanghai bordering its eastern border and Suzhou on its western boundary. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Suzhou. Name There is a strong possibility that the name Kunshan is derived from a hill, but which one is controversial. According to an impacted version, the hill is present-day Little Kunshan (''Xiaokunshan'') in Shanghai's Songjiang District. The character (''Kun'') was the old Chinese name for the Kunlun Mountains. From it developed the Chinese idiom "a jade from Kunlun Mountains", meaning any "outstanding figure". This was applied to Lu Ji and a hill in his hometown was designated as Kun to commemorate him. Su Huiyu
Su Huiyu (; 17 September 1934 – 19 June 2019) was a Chinese legal scholar and a distinguished professor at the East China University of Political Science and Law. A specialist in criminal law, he was named a "National Distinguished Legal Scholar", the highest honour of the China Law Society. Biography Su was born on 17 September 1934 in Suzhou, Jiangsu, Republic of China. After graduating from the Department of Law of Peking University in 1959, he was hired as a faculty member by the university. From 1963, he worked as a legal researcher at the Jiangsu Superior People's Court. In April 1965, he became a faculty member of the East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) in Shanghai. In April 1972, Su was transferred to Fudan University.
