Kristin Sevaldsen
Kristin Sevaldsen (born 10 January 1966 in Lillehammer, Norway) is a Norwegians, Norwegian Jazz musician (saxophone), composer, and music producer. Career Sevaldsen has been band member and session musician for several years. In 2007 she released the debut solo album ''Impressions''. The album gained very favorable reviews and the Kristin Sevaldsen Band played at several concert venues both in Norway and internationally. In 2009 she released the psalm album ''Treasure'', together with Lewi Bergrud and Dag Stokke, that the record company Naxos was awarded hymn album in 2009 and received good reviews from both the album and live concerts. The next solo album ''Transit'' was completed in 2011. The musicians of the set is Tom Erik Antonsen, Per Hillestad and Einar Thorbjørnsen. The album ''Aftenstemning'' (2011) was released in collaboration with Norwegian folk musician Camilla Granlien. They have put new melodies and arrangements to poems by Bjørnson. Lillehammer () is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Lillehammer. Camilla Granlien
Camilla Granlien (born 1974) is a Norwegian folk singer, stev performer and educator. She was born in Elverum, and has studied music at the Voss Folk High School, the Ole Bull Academy, and the Telemark University College. She has worked as song teacher at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and at secondary schools in Vinstra and Gjøvik. She has participated in various musical groups, and made her solo album debut in 2005 with the album ''Begjær''. Her album ''Jarnnetter'' from 2008 is based on lyrics by poets Tor Jonsson and Olav Aukrust, with a mixture of traditional melodies and music composed by Granlien. Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson
Bjørnstjerne Martinius Bjørnson ( , ; 8 December 1832 – 26 April 1910) was a Norwegian writer who received the 1903 Nobel Prize in Literature "as a tribute to his noble, magnificent and versatile poetry, which has always been distinguished by both the freshness of its inspiration and the rare purity of its spirit". Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway.
