Kraus (born September 1, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competed full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. Hans Kraus
Hans Kraus (November 28, 1905 in Austria-Hungary – March 6, 1996, in New York City) was a physician, physical therapist, mountaineer and alpinist. A pioneer of modern rock climbing, he was also one of the fathers of sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation and was elected to the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame in 1974. Career Born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Kraus attended medical school in Vienna in the 1920s, against his father's wishes, becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Through his subsequent practice he developed a philosophy of treatment at odds with traditional medicine of the time. He would evolve this method, called "immediate mobilization", over his entire medical career. Chris Kraus (born 1955) is an American writer and filmmaker. She is the author of ''I Love Dick''. Biography Christine Kraus was born in The Bronx, New York City, and spent her childhood in Milford, Connecticut, and New Zealand. Kraus completed a BA in literature and political theory at Victoria University of Wellington, beginning at the university at the age of 16. She worked as a journalist for five years after the completion of her BA. When she was 21 she arrived in New York, where she began studying with actor Ruth Maleczech and director Lee Breuer, whose studio in the East Village was called ReCherChez. Kraus is Jewish and deals with many spiritual and social aspects of Judaism in her works. Albert “The Hurricane” Kraus (born August 3, 1980) is a Dutch welterweight kickboxer. He was the first K-1 World MAX Tournament Champion in 2002 and also the first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight Champion. Franz Xaver Kraus (18 September 1840 – 28 December 1901) was a German Catholic priest, and ecclesiastical and art historian. Early life Franz Xaver Kraus was born in Trier in 1840. Georg Melchior Kraus
Georg Melchior Kraus (26 July 1737, in Frankfurt am Main – 5 November 1806, in Weimar) was a German painter. He was a co-founder of the Weimar Princely Free Drawing School, together with Friedrich Justin Bertuch, in 1776. Life He was the sixth of nine children, five of whom died while infants. His parents, Cornelia and Johann, operated an inn called "Zur weissen Schlangen" (At the White Snakes) in Frankfurt. Cornelia died when he was eight, and Johann remarried that same year. William James Kraus (June 26, 1947 – January 11, 1986) was an American gay-rights and AIDS activist as well as a congressional aide who served as liaison between the San Francisco gay community and its two successive US Representatives in the early 1980s. Richard Arnold Kraus (August 27, 1937 – December 8, 2019) was a Massachusetts educator and politician who represented the Fourth Middlesex District in the Massachusetts State Senate and who was the president of Cape Cod Community College.
