Astrid Krag
Astrid Krag (born 17 November 1982 in Vejle) is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Social Democrats political party. She served as the Minister of Social Affairs and the Interior in the Cabinet of Mette Frederiksen. She previously served as Minister of Health and Prevention in the Cabinet of Helle Thorning-Schmidt from October 2011 until January 2014. She was a part of the SF youth movement since her high school years at Tørring Amtsgymnasium. She studied Political Science at the University of Copenhagen from 2003 to 2007, and in November 2007 she was elected to parliament. Lul Krag
Lul Krag (7 February 1878 – 9 July 1956) was a Norwegian painter. She is best known for her landscape paintings from Rosendal. Biography She was born in Kongsberg, a daughter of Colonel Ole Krag (1837–1916) and Elise Theodora Collett (1844–1926). Krag first began painting at the age of 20 as a student of Harriet Backer. She studied with Christian Krohg at the Académie Colarossi. In 1933 she moved to Rosendal. She lived a secluded life and did not exhibit her work. In 1954 she moved to Oslo, where she died two years later. Sophia Magdalena Krag-Juel Vind, née ''von Gram'' (1734–1810), was a Danish Salon holder, landowner and noble. She is considered to have exerted considerable political influence in Danish politics during the late 18th century. Biography She was the daughter of Carl Christian von Gram (1703–80) and Birgitte Christine Friis (1715–75). In 1752, she married the official and landowner Baron Jens Krag-Juel-Vind (1724–1776). Peter Rasmus Krag
Peter Rasmus Krag (12 May 1825 – 16 April 1891) was a Norwegian engineer captain in the Norwegian Army, chief-of-roads and politician. He sat as a member of the Parliament of Norway for several terms. Ole Herman Johannes Krag
Ole Herman Johannes Krag (7 April 1837 – 9 December 1916) was a Norwegian officer and firearms designer. Biography Ole H. J. Krag was born in Vågå, in Oppland county, Norway. Krag grew up in various locations where his father, Hans Peter Schnitler Krag (1794–1855), served as pastor, including Vågå, Fredrikshald (Halden) and Christiania (Oslo). Krag was a student at Hartvig Nissens skole in Oslo. He started his military career in January 1854. He became a Second Lieutenant in 1857 and a full Lieutenant in 1861. In 1866 he was ordered to Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk, the most important Norwegian weapons factory of its day. Nils Aall Krag (30 November 1863 – 12 February 1926) was a Norwegian businessman, inventor and industrialist. He was the founder of the firm, Krag Maskinfabrikk A/S, now a division of Pitney Bowes. Jens Otto Krag (; 15 September 1914 – 22 June 1978) was a Danish politician who served as prime minister of Denmark from 1962 to 1968 and from 1971 to 1972, and as leader of the Social Democrats from 1962 to 1972. He was president of the Nordic Council in 1971. Early life and career Krag was born in Randers, Jutland, on 15 September 1914, into the impoverished family of a tobacconist. Christian Emil Krag-Juel-Vind-Frijs (8 December 1817 – 12 October 1896) was a Danish nobleman and politician. He was Council President of Denmark from 1865 to 1870 as the leader of the Frijs Cabinet. Frederik Krag (6 March 1655 – 24 September 1728) was a Danish nobleman (Baron) and senior civil servant who served kings Frederick IV and Frederick V.
