Kootwijkerbroek
Kootwijkerbroek is a village in the Netherlands, on the Veluwe, in the municipality of Barneveld, Gelderland, Netherlands. The village, situated in the Gelderland Valley, east of Barneveld, has a major agricultural role in this part of the valley with most of the 157 companies located in Kootwijkerbroek involved in agriculture and industry. Kootwijkerbroek is an old village just between Kootwijk and Barneveld, with many generations traditionally involved in milling. The last mill burnt down in 1964, however it was rebuilt in 2015. On the edge of the village, there is a church with a beautiful old vicarage surrounded by an attractive garden park with ponds. Kootwijkerbroek is a conservative Protestant village, located on the Dutch Bible Belt. Barneveld () is a municipality in the province of Gelderland in the center of the Netherlands. It is known for its poultry industry and large Protestant community. The municipality had a population of in , out of which 33,800 (2018) lived in the town itself. Barneveld is estimated to be over 800 years old. Village

Foot-and-mouth Disease
Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) or hoof-and-mouth disease (HMD) is an infectious and sometimes fatal viral disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals, including domestic and wild bovids. The virus causes a high fever lasting two to six days, followed by blisters inside the mouth and near the hoof that may rupture and cause lameness. FMD has very severe implications for animal farming, since it is highly infectious and can be spread by infected animals comparatively easily through contact with contaminated farming equipment, vehicles, clothing, and feed, and by domestic and wild predators. Bible Belt (Netherlands)
The Bible Belt ( nl, bijbelgordel, biblebelt ) is a strip of land in the Netherlands with the highest concentration of conservative orthodox Calvinist Protestants in the country. Although the term is recent (named after the Bible Belt of the United States) the Dutch Bible belt has existed for many generations. This Bible Belt stretches from Zeeland in the southwest, through the West-Betuwe and Veluwe in the center of the country, to parts of the province Overijssel in the northeast. Municipalities in this area include Yerseke, Tholen, Ouddorp, Opheusden, Kesteren, Barneveld, Nunspeet, Elspeet and Staphorst. The three biggest cities regarded to be part of the Bible Belt are Ede, Veenendaal and Kampen. Veluwe
The Veluwe () is a forest-rich ridge of hills (1100 km2) in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. The Veluwe features many different landscapes, including woodland, heath, some small lakes and Europe's largest sand drifts. The Veluwe is the largest push moraine complex in the Netherlands, stretching 60 km from north to south, and reaching heights of up to 110 metres. The Veluwe was formed by the Saalian glacial during the Pleistocene epoch, some 200,000 years ago. Glaciers some 200 metres thick pushed the sand deposits in the Rhine and Maas Delta sideways, creating the hills which now form most of the Veluwe.
