Konzertgesellschaft München
The Konzertgesellschaft München is a non-profit association dedicated to the cultivation and promotion of classical music and, since 2017, jazz. Through the international singing competition Vokal genial, which took place annually alternating with the August Everding Music Competition for Instrumentalists, the Konzertgesellschaft München and its members have paved the way for more than 100 artists to pursue an international career over the past 30 years. In 1999, the Konzertgesellschaft München was awarded the ''Europäischen Kulturpreis'' in recognition of its merits. Alfredo Perl
Alfredo Perl (born in Santiago de Chile in 1965) is a Chilean-German classical pianist and conductor, best known for his recitals of Beethoven's sonatas. Biography He began playing the piano from a young age. He studied at the Chilean National Conservatory under Carlos Botto Vallarino, and later under Günter Ludwig in Germany and Maria Curcio in London. Since then, Perl has worked with Mitsuko Uchida, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Martha Argerich and Daniel Barenboim. He made his debut in the International Piano Series at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London in 1992. Perl has since performed Beethoven recitals at Wigmore Hall and a Chopin recital at the Hopetoun House in Edinburgh in 2003. Daniel Ottensamer
Daniel Ottensamer is an Austrian clarinetist and the principal clarinet of the Vienna Philharmonic. Life and career Ottensamer first began learning the piano in 1992, and switched to cello after two years. He then took up the clarinet, studying with Anton Hafenscher at the Music School in Perchtoldsdorf. In 2004, he began studying under Johann Hindler at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In September 2009, he was appointed first clarinetist of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. Christina Landshamer (born 1977) is a German operatic soprano. Lena Neudauer (born 1984) is a German violinist. Life Born in Munich, Neudauer started playing the violin at the age of 3. She first took lessons with Helge Thelen and later with Sonja Korkeala. At the age of 11, she attended the Mozarteum University Salzburg and studied with Thomas Zehetmair and finally with Christoph Poppen. Already at the age of 15, Neudauer won the 4th International Violin Competition Leopold Mozart in Augsburg in 1999 (Mozart Prize – 1st Prize). Klenke Quartet
The Klenke Quartet is a German string quartet. History The quartet was founded in 1991 at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt, Weimar. Since then, the line-up has remained unchanged. The four members are: Annegret Klenke – Violin, Beate Hartmann – Violin, Yvonne Uhlemann – Viola and Ruth Kaltenhäuser – Violoncello. They live in Berlin and Thuringia. Xavier de Maistre (; 10 October 1763 – 12 June 1852) of Savoy (then part of the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia) lived largely as a military man but is known as a French writer. The younger brother of Joseph de Maistre, a noted philosopher and counter-revolutionary, Xavier was born to an aristocratic family at Chambéry in October 1763.
