Konami Music Masterpiece Collection
is Konami's sound team. It is often confused with 矩形波倶楽部 (Kukeiha Club), Konami's in-house band that has released albums consisting of their studio performances. They are primarily responsible for the sound and music in the majority of Konami video games. One of their best known works is the soundtrack to '' Gensō Suikoden'' — the majority of the material being composed by member Miki Higashino (Miki-Chan). Motoaki Furukawa (main arranger and guitarist) has been known to perform live with members not part of the in-house band, credited under "Konami Kukeiha Club". Square Wave
A square wave is a non-sinusoidal periodic waveform in which the amplitude alternates at a steady frequency between fixed minimum and maximum values, with the same duration at minimum and maximum. In an ideal square wave, the transitions between minimum and maximum are instantaneous. The square wave is a special case of a pulse wave which allows arbitrary durations at minimum and maximum amplitudes. Kenichiro Fukui
is a Japanese video game composer and electronic musician. Before working at Square Enix, he was employed at Konami. He was also an arranger and a keyboardist in the band The Black Mages. Additionally, Fukui arranged Angela Aki's "Kiss Me Good-Bye" from ''Final Fantasy XII''. In October 2007, he left Square Enix to become a lecturer, although he continued to work with The Black Mages until the band dissolved in 2010, and continued to do freelance work with video games. His Konami Kukeiha Club nickname was "Funiki Fukui". He lives in Yokohama, Japan. Biography Fukui was born on March 4, 1970, in Hyōgo Prefecture. He joined the video game company Konami in 1991. OverClocked ReMix, also known as OC ReMix and OCR, is a non-commercial organization dedicated to preserving and paying tribute to video game music through arranging and re-interpreting the songs, both with new technology and software and by various traditional means. The primary focus of OC ReMix is its website, ''ocremix.org'', which freely hosts over 4,000 curated fan-made video game music arrangements, information on game music and composers, and resources for aspiring artists. Yuji Takenouchi
, also known as TECHNOuchi, is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and musician. Career Takznouchi began his career in the game industry at Konami in 1989, which proved to be challenging as he had no formal musical training. Takenouchi wanted to compose music for the NES, but was assigned to work for PC. He composed for multiple games, most notably ''SD Snatcher'' and '' Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake''. Takenouchi considers 1989's ''Space Manbow'' to be his best MSX-era work. Takenouchi also worked on multiple arcade games, including ''X-Men''. He found arcade game music and sound design to offer different challenges as arcades are a crowded environment. Naoki Maeda (composer)
(born April 28, 1969) is a Japanese composer best known for composing and arranging the music for Konami music video games, including the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' and ''Bemani'' series. Biography Maeda composed music for Konami's ''Bemani'' music game series, beginning in 1998. For the following eight years, he served as the lead sound producer for the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' arcade series, up until the release of '' DDR SuperNOVA''. Early editions of the game relied heavily on Maeda's music compositions, and as such, some of his songs are considered favorites by fans. Michiru Yamane
is a Japanese video game composer and pianist. Yamane's musical style draws on baroque, classical and rock traditions, with both Johann Sebastian Bach and Yellow Magic Orchestra as prominent influences. She is best known for her two decades of work at the gaming company Konami, with her compositions for the ''Castlevania'' series among her most recognized work. Yamane grew an interest in music at an early age, practicing on the electric organ and piano. She studied composition in college and began working as a composer for Konami in 1988. Kinuyo Yamashita
is a Japanese composer and musician known for her contributions in video games. Her best known soundtrack is Konami's '' Castlevania'', which was also her debut work. She was co-credited with Satoe Terashima under the pseudonym James Banana for her work on the Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game. This pseudonym was a pun of the name James Bernard, the composer of the 1958 film '' Dracula''. Life Yamashita was born in Amagasaki, Hyōgo, Japan. is a Japanese video game composer. After working for Konami in the early 1990s, he was employed by Squaresoft and then Square Enix from 1995 to 2009. He is best known for scoring ''Threads of Fate'' and co-composing ''Final Fantasy X'' for Squaresoft, arranging for ''Dawn of Mana'' and the Nintendo DS version of ''Final Fantasy IV'' for Square Enix, and scoring arcade video games such as ''X-Men'' and ''Mystic Warriors'' for Konami.
