Felix Martin Andreas Matthias Blume (born 3 August 1984), known professionally as Kollegah, is a German rapper. He releases his music via his own label, Alpha Music Empire. Born in Friedberg and raised by a single mother in Simmern, he started rapping in the Reimliga Battle Arena in December 2004. Intending to pursue a solo career as a rapper, Kollegah released his first mixtape ''Zuhältertape'' in July 2005 and was signed to ''Selfmade Records'' in December of the same year. He went on to pursue a variety of styles on subsequent albums ''Alphagene'' (2007), '' Kollegah'' (2008) and ''Bossaura'' (2011). His fourth studio album, ''King'', was released in 2014 and became his best-selling album to date. His fifth album, ''Zuhältertape Vol. 4'', was released in 2015, ''Imperator'' in 2016 and ''Monument'' in 2018. ''Jung Brutal Gutaussehend 3'' ("Young, violent, handsome 3"; also stylized as ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 3'' and abbreviated as ''JBG 3'') is the third collaborative studio album by German rappers Kollegah and Farid Bang. It was released on 1 December 2017 through Alpha Music Empire, Banger Musik, and BMG. Before the release of the album, Kollegah and Bang collaborated on ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend'' in 2009 and ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 2'' in 2013. ''Monument'' is the seventh studio album by German rapper Kollegah, released on 7 December 2018 through his own label Alpha Music Empire. The album is Kollegah's first solo album since 2016's ''Imperator''. The double album also included his tenth mixtape ''Hoodtape Volume 3''. It was released on 19 June 2009 through Selfmade Records. Two follow-ups, ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 2'' and '' 3'', were released in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Background Farid Bang explained after the release of his debut album ''Asphalt Massaka'' in 2008 that he won't record an album in 2009. Kollegah also confirmed not to record for his own. He is currently the owner of the label Banger Musik. Early life Farid Bang was born in Melilla, Spain, and grew up in Málaga. At the age of eight, he moved to Düsseldorf, Germany with his mother and sister. His mother grew up in Germany and is of Moroccan descent, while his father is from Melilla, Spain.
