Ko Ping-chung
Ko Ping-chung (also Ko Pin-chung , born 18 September 1995) is a Taiwanese 9-ball pool player. Ko is the younger brother of Ko Pin-yi. Career In November 2010, Ko Ping-chung reached his first major final the All Japan Championship. However, he lost in the final against the German Thorsten Hohmann. In May 2011, he reached the knockout round of a men's world championship for the first time at the 2011 WPA World Ten-ball Championship and lost in the last 64 match against Darren Appleton 8–9. At the 2011 WPA World Nine-ball Championship he would lose in the preliminary round. In November 2013, he managed to win 8–5 in the final against Poland to become Junior World 9-ball Champion. At the 2014 WPA World Nine-ball Championship Ko Ping-chung lost in the preliminary round. 2015 WPA World Nine-ball Championship
The 2015 WPA World Nine-ball Championship was the 24th edition of the 9-Ball pool World Championships. It took place from September 7 to 18, 2015 in the al-Attiya Sports Arena of the Al-Arabi Sports Club in Doha. The Qatari capital was the sixth time in a row the venue for the 9-Ball Championships. The event was won by Ko Pin-yi of Chinese Taipei, who defeated America's Shane Van Boening in the final, with a score of 13 racks to 11. Career In December 2018, Gorst reached 8th in the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) world rankings. Joshua Filler
Joshua Filler (born 2 October 1997) is a German pool player from Bönen, Germany. In 2018 Filler defeated Carlo Biado 13–10 to win the 2018 WPA World Nine-ball Championship. The same year he was the youngest player to win the China Open and 2018 10-ball European Pool Championships. Filler became WPA and Euro Tour world number 1 in 2019, and later reached the final of the 2019 WPA World Ten-ball Championship before losing 10–7 to Ko Ping-chung. Filler has also represented Europe in the Mosconi Cup, winning the MVP award at the 2017 and 2022 events . 2019 WPA World Ten-ball Championship
The 2019 WPA World Ten-ball Championship was a professional pool tournament for the discipline of ten-ball organised by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and CueSports International. It was the fifth WPA World Ten-ball Championship; the previous championship was held in 2015. After plans for an event in both 2016 and 2018 to be held in Manila fell through, a 2019 event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas as part of a three-year deal for the event to be played in the United States was agreed. The event was held concurrently with the Billiard Congress of America's National Ten-ball event from July 22 to 26. The event was sponsored by cue manufacturer Predator Group.
