Kjell Kjær
Kjell Kjær (born February 1, 1942) is a Norwegian film actor, puppeteer, director, and program host. He has also performed as a stage actor, including at the National Theater in Oslo. Puppet theater In 1968, Kjell Kjær participated as a puppeteer in a production of '' Mikko Matti og vennene hans'' (Mikko Matti and His Friends), for which Julian and Birgit Strøm were responsible. Frøydis Armand and Elisabeth Strøm Henriksen also took part on stage. In 1979 he participated in NRK Television Theater's production of the play ''Sella-re-atag (Gata-er-alles)''. The production was a collaboration between NRK and Musidra Theatre. The play ''Sella-re-atag'' was a further development of Musidra's puppet theater performance ''Hjemmebarn og Fremmedbarn'' from the same year. The director was Helge Reistad. ''Faneflukt'' (Desertion) is a Norwegian film from 1975. It was directed by Eldar Einarson, who also wrote the screenplay. Plot In 1941, the young kitchen maid Liv meets the German non-commissioned officer Franz while she is working in the non-commissioned officer's mess. This is a relationship that their environment, and especially Liv's father, cannot accept, and they decide to flee to Sweden. What Liv does not know is that Franz is already married in Germany. The film has a different perspective on the German occupation of Norway than Norwegian war films had up until then, and is one of the early examples of an alternative war narrative. ''Fleksnes Fataliteter'', better known by its shortened title ''Fleksnes'', was a Norwegian-Swedish-Danish television comedy series produced between 1972 and 2002, created by Swedish writer Bo Hermansson and based on Galton and Simpson's scripts for the British series ''Hancock's Half Hour''. History The series was born when Swedish writer Bo Hermansson began translating the British comedy series ''Hancock's Half Hour'' in the early 70s, drawing attention from three different Nordic broadcasters, who eventually produced and aired the series together. The main dialogue is in Norwegian, but nearly all episodes featured guest stars from both Sweden and Denmark.
