''Det andre skiftet'' (The Second Shift) is a Norwegian drama film from 1978 directed by Lasse Glomm. The film features Mona Malm, Gunnar Enerkjær, Nils Gaup, Frode Rasmussen, and Kaare Kroppan. Lasse Glomm
Lasse Glomm (September 5, 1944 – October 11, 1996) was a Norwegian film director and screenwriter. He directed eight feature films and wrote the screenplays for seven films. He also produced several films. Career Glomm began his career as a film journalist and editorial member of the film magazines ''Fant'' and ''Filmavisa''. He became involved in film work in 1972. He was a production assistant and manager on several films, including Joseph Losey's film adaptation of ''A Doll's House'' (1973) and Per Blom's '' Mors hus'' (1974). Glomm made his directorial debut with ''Det andre skiftet'' (1978) and followed up with '' At dere tør!'' (1980), both based on books by Espen Haavardsholm. Bernhard Ramstad
Bernhard Ramstad (born 29 December 1946) is a Norwegian actor, theatre instructor and director. He made his debut at Trøndelag Teater in 1966. He was formally employed there from 1968 to 1970, and then worked at Nationaltheatret from 1970 to 1971, Hålogaland Teater from 1971 to 1977 and Telemark Teater from 1977 to 1986. From 1986 to 1989 he was the director of Hålogaland Teater. In 1989 he was hired at Det Norske Teatret. He has also appeared on the screen. Kjell Kjær (born February 1, 1942) is a Norwegian film actor, puppeteer, director, and program host. He has also performed as a stage actor, including at the National Theater in Oslo. Die Throw (review)
The "die throw" ( no, terningkast) is a method of review which is often used in Norway. It is characterized by the use of a white-on-red die graphic to represent the movie's rating in the review, and is similar to stars or letters used in other countries. The format was introduced by film director and then-film critic Arne Skouen, who, writing for ''Verdens Gang'' on 31 March 1952, stated the need of "having a film première characterized in a short, concise form". To do this, he used a standard die with six pips, where one marked the lowest possible rating of a film, and six marked the highest. In some cases, a die with zero pips has been used, meaning awful. Similarly, people sometimes allude to "seven pips", meaning extraordinarily good. Usage In time, the die throw spread to other parts of the media.
