Kitrino Galazio
''Kitrino Galazio'' ( el, Κίτρινο Γαλάζιο, en, Yellow, Blue) is the title of the second studio album by Greek singer Anna Vissi, released in Greece and Cyprus in 1979 by EMI Greece. It was her first album after her departure from Minos, her previous record label. The album reached platinum status, and was one of the best-selling albums of 1979 in Greece. Background and release After Vissi left record label Minos, she continued to pursue pop music with her second album. Music and lyrics for the album were written by Takis Bougas, I. Kalamitsi, Daniel Deschênes, G. Kanellopoulou, S. Blassopoulou, G. Kanellopoulou, Sakari, Psylla, and Vissi herself. The album was well received by the public, with first single "Aftos Pou Perimeno" becoming one of the most played songs of the year. Years later in 1987, ''Kitrino Galazio'' was among the first sets of albums that Minos EMI released on CD; the CD edition of the album was regularly shipped to shops throughout the years ...

Anna Vissi
Anna Vissi ( el, Άννα Βίσση, , ; born 20 December 1957), is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens. Vissi established herself in the recording industry by winning the Thessaloniki Song Festival in 1977 with the song "As Kanoume Apopse Mian Arhi" and releasing the eponymous debut album. Since the 1980s, Vissi began a nearly exclusive collaboration with songwriter Nikos Karvelas, to whom she was married from 1983 to 1992 and had one child with, resulting in one of the most successful music partnerships in the nation's history. Minos EMI is a record company based in Athens, Greece. The company serves as the Greek record label and offices of the multinational Universal Music Group. EMI is credited for founding the record business in Greece in the 1930s, by producing the first records and building the country's first recording studio. Columbia Graphophone Co. Ltd. was one of the earliest phonograph, gramophone companies in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1917 as an offshoot of the American Columbia Records, Columbia Phonograph Company, it became an independent British-owned company in 1922 in a management buy-out after the parent company went into receivership. ''As Kanoume Apopse Mian Arhi'' (; ) is the title of the debut studio album by singer Anna Vissi, released in Greece and Cyprus by Minos in 1977. Album information In the 1970s in the Greek music industry, the prerequisite to recording a personal album was to prove one's artistic merits by collaborating and recording with other established musicians. Having proved herself by collaborating with the legendary Mikis Theodorakis and other influential artists like George Dalaras, record company Minos finally granted Vissi the privilege of recording her debut personal studio album. The album featured 11 new songs and 2 songs previously included in various composer albums. The lead single, "As Kanoume Apopse Mian Arhi" was sung by Vissi at the Thessaloniki Song Festival, on September 26, 1977, prior to the album release, winning first prize.
