Kishore Sarja
Kishore Sarja (died 27 June 2009) was an Indian film director who worked in Kannada-language films. Career Kishore Sarja started his career as an assistant director before making his directorial debut with ''Alimayya'' (1993) starring his brother Arjun Sarja, which was a remake of the 1987 Tamil film ''Kalyana Kacheri'' starring Arjun. He is known for directing the film ''Thutta Mutta'' (1998) starring Ramesh Aravind, which was commercially successful and his only film that was not a remake. He also directed other films including ''Jodi'' (2001) and ''Baava Baamaida'' (2001), both starring Shiva Rajkumar. He introduced his nephew, Chiranjeevi Sarja with the film ''Vayuputra'' (2009), which was produced by Arjun Sarja. Personal life Sarja's father, Shakti Prasad, was an actor in Kannada cinema while his brother Arjun Sarja is a filmmaker and actor. Kishore died on 26 June 2009. Chiranjeevi Sarja
Chiranjeevi Sarja (died 7 June 2020) was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films. Hailing from a family of actors, Sarja acted in more than 20 films in a career spanning 11 years. Early life and family Sarja was born as the first child of Ammaji and Vijay Kumar. He comes from a family of people associated with South Indian film industry; his maternal grandfather Shakti Prasad, uncle Arjun Sarja and younger brother Dhruva Sarja are all actors, while another uncle Kishore Sarja was a director. He completed his schooling from Baldwin Boys' High School before graduating from Vijaya College, Bangalore. He worked as an assistant director with his uncle Arjun for about four years. Kannada Cinema
Kannada cinema, also known as Sandalwood, or Chandanavana, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Kannada language widely spoken in the state of Karnataka. The 1934 film ''Sati Sulochana'' directed by Y. V. Rao was the first talkie film in the Kannada language. It was also the first film starring Subbaiah Naidu and Tripuramba, and was the first motion picture screened in the erstwhile Mysore Kingdom. J. C. Ramaswamy (19 May 1928 – 2 August 1986), known by his screen name Shakti Prasad, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films in mostly villainous roles. ''Vayuputra'' () is a 2009 Indian Kannada-language romantic action film directed by Kishore Sarja and produced by his brother, actor Arjun Sarja. The Sarja brothers launched their nephew Chiranjeevi Sarja through this film in the lead role. The rest of the cast includes Ambareesh, Aindrita Ray, Ajay, Sadhu Kokila and several others. The film is a remake of the Tamil film ''Sandakozhi'' directed by N. Linguswamy. The original score and soundtrack for the film is composed by V. Harikrishna. The film released on 3 September 2009. This was Kishore's final film as director who passed away three months earlier before the release.
