The Kinmen Fisheries Research Institute (KFRI; ) is a fish research center in Jincheng Township, Kinmen, Taiwan with the aim of protecting biodiversity, balance, sustainable resource management and development of life, production and ecology. Kinmen
Kinmen, alternatively known as Quemoy, is a group of islands governed as a county by the Republic of China (Taiwan), off the southeastern coast of mainland China. It lies roughly east of the city of Xiamen in Fujian, from which it is separated by Xiamen Bay. Kinmen is located west from the shoreline of the island of Taiwan across the Taiwan Strait. Jincheng Township () is an urban township on the southwestern corner of the island of Kinmen (Quemoy). It is the county seat of Kinmen County, Fujian Province, Republic of China (Taiwan). Jincheng was the seat of the ROC's Fukien Province from 1949–1956 and 1996–2019. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau. Fish
Fish are aquatic, craniate, gill-bearing animals that lack limbs with digits. Included in this definition are the living hagfish, lampreys, and cartilaginous and bony fish as well as various extinct related groups. Jincheng is a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Shanxi province, China, bordering Henan province to the south and southeast.
