Kimmo Yliriesto
Kimmo Yliriesto (born 28 January 1983) is a Finnish former ski jumper who competed from 2000 to 2012. He won a bronze medal in the team competition at the 2000 Junior World Ski Championships, followed by a team gold medal in the following year's event. He made his World Cup debut on 3 December 2000, finishing 56th in Kuopio. He also did well at Continental Cup level, with many top-10 finishes and two wins. He achieved his first World Cup points with a tenth place in Hakuba on 24 January 2002. FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup
The FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup is a series of ski jumping competitions arranged yearly by the International Ski Federation. It is considered the second level of international ski jumping, ranking below the World Cup and not counting Grand Prix which world top class summer competition. Athletes competing in the Continental Cup are usually juniors and jumpers fighting for a spot on their nation's World Cup team. Some jumpers alternate between the World Cup and the Continental Cup and therefore, the winner of the Continental Cup is not necessarily the best jumper. Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium
The , also known as the is a ski jumping venue located in the Miyanomori area in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Owned mostly by Sapporo City, the ski jump is on the eastern slope of the Mt. The Puijo ski jumping hills (Finnish: ''Puijon hyppyrimäet'') are a complex of four ski jumping hills in the city of Kuopio, Finland. They are located on the 150-metre-high Puijo hill, overlooked by the Puijo observation tower. History The first documented ski jumping competition at Puijo took place in 1886. The first proper jumping hill was erected in around 1900, with jumps of up to 14 metres reportedly made on this hill. Ten years later, an additional 20-metre hill was constructed.
