Kilian Fischhuber
Kilian Fischhuber (born 1 August 1983) is a professional Austrian sport climber and rock climber. He participated in bouldering and lead climbing competitions. From 2005 to 2011, he won five Bouldering World Cups. No other male climber was ever able to win it more than three times, or win it three times in a row. Due to his outstanding career, he was awarded the La Sportiva Competition Award in 2009, together with Chris Sharma. Biography Fischhuber discovered indoor sport climbing in 1995. From 1997 to 1999 he participated in Lead climbing international youth competitions. In 1999, when he was 16 years old, he entered the Austrian bouldering team and started competing in the Bouldering World Cup, winning his first bronze medal in 2003 and his first gold in 2004. He won the Bouldering World Cup five times, in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011. Waidhofen An Der Ybbs
Waidhofen an der Ybbs (; Central Bavarian: ''Waidhofn aun da Ybbs'') is a statutory city ''(Statutarstadt)'' in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. The city had a population of 11,662 (in 131,52 km²) as of the 2001 census. It was first mentioned in 1186 and has been the economic centre of the Ybbstal valley since the 14th century. In rock climbing and ice climbing, a pitch is a steep section of a route that requires a rope between two belays, as part of a climbing system. Standard climbing ropes are between 50 and 80 metres long, so a pitch is always shorter, between two convenient ledges if possible; longer routes are multi-pitch, requiring the re-use of the rope each time. Céüse
Céüse (french: Montagne de Céüse) is a limestone mountain in the Hautes-Alpes ''département'' of France near Gap and Sigoyer. The "Pic de Céüse" is at an elevation of , and the whole massif is included in the Natura 2000 protected area. The mountain has a distinctive large horseshoe-shaped cliff (the Corniche de Céûse) which contains some of the most extreme sport climbing routes in the world. It is also the site of a ski resort. The Ziller Valley (german: Zillertal) is a valley in Tyrol, Austria that is drained by the Ziller River. It is the widest valley south of the Inn Valley (german: Inntal) and lends its name to the Zillertal Alps, the strongly glaciated section of the Alps in which it lies.
