Kilcoo GAC
Kilcoo Owen Roes (Irish: Eoghan Rúa Cill Chua) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Kilcoo, County Down, Northern Ireland. They are the most successful club in the Down Senior Football Championship having won it 19 times. The club has also won the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship twice and the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship once. History Kilcoo GAC was founded in 1906 although there were records of GAA being played there since the 1880s; a proper club wasn't formed until then. The club's first competitive match took place on 13 January 1907 against local team Liatroim (who were the first club formed in the county). The match ended with Kilcoo 0–0 Leitrim 0–5. Kilcoo won their first Senior County Championship in 1917 defeating Killyleagh in the final. Derrygonnelly Harps GFC
Derrygonnelly Harps is a Gaelic football club from Derrygonnelly in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, founded in 1924. The club participates in Fermanagh competitions and has won the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship nine times. The club colours are purple and yellow. The name Derrygonnelly (Doire Ó gConaile), when translated, means ‘The Oak Wood of O’Connolly’. The Harps playing complex is about half a mile outside the village. Canon Maguire Park comprises the main playing field, a full size training pitch, a spacious changing room complex, a meeting room and a covered stand (Fermanagh’s first, opened in 1999). The 2020 Down Senior Football Championship was the 112th official edition of Down GAA's premier Gaelic Football tournament for senior clubs in County Down, with 16 teams competing. The tournament operated a double elimination format for the opening two rounds of the championship, with the winners and early round losers rejoining at the quarter final stage. Kilcoo were the holders after defeating Warrenpoint in the 2019 final. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, relegation from the S.F.C. was not tied to this year's Down Football League. Instead, a Relegation Play-off was implemented within this year's S.F.C. format. Darragh Cross were relegated to the 2021 I.F.C. after losing their Relegation Play-Off. Bredagh made their return to the senior grade after claiming the Down I.F.C. title in 2018. St. Mary's Burren GAA, St. Mary's Burren were the holders after they ended Kilcoo GAC, Kilcoo's run of six titles in a row, defeating the then defending champions on a scoreline of 2-12 to 2-09 in the 2018 final. The 2017 Down Senior Football Championship was the 109th official edition of Down GAA's premier gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Down. 16 teams compete with the winner representing Down in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship. Kilcoo Owen Roe's were the defending champions after they defeated Clonduff 3-11 to 0-9 in the 2016 final. On 1 October 2017 they successfully defended their title to claim a "6 in a row" of Down S.F.C. titles when defeating Burren 0-13 to 0-11. The final was broadcast live on TG4. Sixteen teams compete with the winner representing Down in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship. The 2009 Down Senior Football Championship was the 2009 instalment of the annual Gaelic football club championship in Down. The tournament is a straight knockout competition between the 16 elite clubs in Down. The 2008 holders of the championship were Mayobridge. The competition ran from 6 August to 4 October 2009.
