2021 Ulster Senior Club Football Championship
The 2021 Ulster Senior Club Football Championship was the 53rd instalment of the annual competition organised by Ulster GAA. It is one of the four provincial competitions of the 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The Ulster club championship returned this year after not being held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kilcoo from Down were the reigning Ulster champions following their victory in the 2019 final over Donegal's Naomh Conaill. Kilcoo claimed their second Ulster title after a comfortable win against Fermanagh's Derrygonnelly Harps, who were appearing in their first Ulster final. Flag Of Ulster
The flag of Ulster is a historic banner based on the coat of arms of Ulster, used to represent Ulster, one of the four provinces of Ireland. It consists of a red cross on a gold background with a red hand on a white shield in the centre. History The flag of Ulster came about when Walter de Burgh, 1st Earl of Ulster became Earl of Ulster in 1264. He merged the family arms (heraldry) of the ancient Anglo-Norman and Hiberno-Norman noble dynasty, the House of Burgh (which was a red cross on a yellow background) with that of the Red Hand of Ulster of the Irish over-kingdom of Ulaid, which the earldom encompassed. Down GAA
The Down County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae An Dún) or Down GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Down, Northern Ireland. The County Board is responsible for preparing the Down county teams in the various Gaelic sporting codes; football, hurling, camogie and handball. The county football team was the second from the province of Ulster to win an All-Ireland Senior Football Championship (SFC), following Cavan, and also the first team from Northern Ireland to win the Sam Maguire Cup since partition, doing so in 1960. Kickhams GAC Creggan, founded in 1924, is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Creggan, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Fermanagh County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Coiste Chontae Fear Manach) or Fermanagh GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
