''Kick ''is a 2009 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Surender Reddy from a story by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film stars Ravi Teja, Ileana D'Cruz, Ileana, and Shaam (actor), Shaam (in his Telugu debut) while Brahmanandam plays a supporting role. The film has music composed by S. Thaman. Released worldwide on 8 May 2009, the film is a commercial success. The film is remade in Tamil language, Tamil as ''Thillalangadi'' (2010), in Hindi with Kick (2014 film), the same name and in Kannada as ''Super Ranga'' (2014). A sequel, ''Kick 2'' also starring Teja and directed by Reddy was released in 2015. Surender Reddy
Surender Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with ''Athanokkade'' (2005), which won him Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director. He later directed films such as ''Kick'' (2009)'', Oosaravelli'' (2011), ''Race Gurram'' (2014)'', Dhruva'' (2016), and ''Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'' (2019). He won SIIMA Award for Best Director – Telugu for ''Race Gurram.'' Early life Reddy was born and brought up in Machanapalli village of Karimnagar district, Telangana. Kota Srinivasa Rao (born 10 July 1942) is an Indian character actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. Kunath Venu Madhav (died 25 September 2019) was an Indian actor, television presenter, mimicry artist and comedian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Jaya Prakash Reddy
Jaya Prakash Reddy (8 May 1946 – 8 September 2020) was an Indian actor who predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Born in Sirvel of Andhra Pradesh, he came into the limelight with the film ''Samarasimha Reddy'' (1999) where he played the role of Veera Raghava Reddy. He acted as an antagonist in several films such as ''Jayam Manade Raa'' (2000) and '' Chennakesava Reddy'' (2002). Later in his career, he was also featured in many comic roles. He died at his home in Guntur on 8 September 2020, at an age of 74, from massive cardiac arrest. ''Parugu'' (), titled ''In the Name of Love'' in the UK, is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by Bhaskar. The film stars Allu Arjun, Sheela Kaur and Prakash Raj.
