Mohamed Ali Hared ( so, Maxamed Cali xareed , ar, محمد علي حريد آرآج) is a Somali politician. From July 2014 to January 2015, he served as the Minister of National Security of Somalia. Personal life Hared hails from the abdalle hawadle sub-clan of the Hawiye. Career Hared previously served as the Banaadir regional security agency chief. On 9 July 2014, Ereg was appointed Minister of National Security of Somalia by Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed. He replaced Abdikarim Hussein Guled at the position. On 27 January 2015, Ereg's term as Minister of National Security of Somalia ended, following the appointment of a new Cabinet by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke. The Ministry of Internal Security is a ministry responsible for ensuring the safety of both Somali nationals as well as expatriates living within the country. This ministry is also tasked with ensuring police officers in the country get paid. Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed ( so, Cabdiweli Sheekh Axmed, ar, عبدالولي الشيخ أحمد; born 1959), also known as Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohammad, is a Somali economist and politician. The Hawadle or Xawaadle ( so, Xawaadle, ar, حوادله, it, Auadleh) are a Somali clan who traces its descent from Mayle Gorgaarte, one of the sons of Hawiye clan. The Hawiye ( so, Hawiye, ar, بنو هوية, it, Hauija) is the largest Somali clan family. Members of this clan traditionally inhabit central and southern Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia ( Somali, Harar, Oromia and Afar regions) and the North Eastern Province in Kenya. Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke (; so, Cumar Cabdirashiid Cali Sharmaarke, ar, عمر شرماركي) (born 18 June 1960), popularly known as Omar Sharmarke, is a Somali diplomat and politician.
