Kalyan-Dombivli is a twin city and it comes under Mumbai metropolitan region and it is a municipal corporation with its headquarters located in Kalyan in Thane district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Thane district (Pronunciation: ʰaːɳe previously named Taana or Thana) is a district in the Konkan Division of Maharashtra, India.
