Kevin Darlington
Kevin Godfrey Darlington (born 26 April 1972) is a Guyanese-American cricket coach and former player. He played for Guyana in West Indian domestic cricket from 1995 to 2002, as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He later played international cricket for the United States from 2010 to 2011. He has since coached at national level in the United States. Career with Guyana Darlington made his first-class debut for Guyana in 1995 against Barbados and his List-A debut in the same season against the Leeward Islands. From 1995 to 2002 Darlington represented Guyana in 30 first-class matches, with his final appearance for the side coming against the Leeward Islands. In List-A cricket he represented Guyana in 22 matches from 1995 to 2000, with his final match coming against Bermuda. In his 30 first-class matches for Guyana he took 79 wickets at a bowling average of 28.79, with three five wicket hauls and best figures of 6/25 against Trinidad and Tobago in 2001. New Amsterdam ( nl, Nieuw Amsterdam) is the regional capital of East Berbice-Corentyne, Guyana and one of the country's largest towns. In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five–for" or "fifer") occurs when a bowler takes five or more wickets in a single innings. 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off
The 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off was the inaugural edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off, a cricket tournament which formed part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process. It took place in March and April 2023, with all matches having One Day International (ODI) status, regardless of whether or not a team had ODI status prior to the start of the event. As a result, Jersey played their first ever matches with ODI status. Six teams qualified for the tournament: the bottom four teams from the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 along with the top teams in Groups A and B of the 2019–2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League. 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2010 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played from 9–13 February 2010 in the United Arab Emirates and a part of ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. The top two teams progressed to play in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20, the international championship of Twenty20 cricket. The eight competing teams were: Afghanistan, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, the Netherlands, Scotland, UAE and the USA.
