The captain of a cricket team, often referred to as the skipper, is the appointed leader, having several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of the other players. Diego Lord (born 26 September 1977) is an Argentine cricketer who plays for Lomas Athletic Club. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who has played for Argentina since 1997. He was born in Buenos Aires. Tomas Francis (born 27 April 1992) is a Wales-international rugby union player who plays at tight head prop for Ospreys. Wicketkeeper
The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises.
