Perak
Perak () is a state of Malaysia on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. Perak has land borders with the Malaysian states of Kedah to the north, Penang to the northwest, Kelantan and Pahang to the east, and Selangor to the south. Malaysian Malay ( ms, Bahasa Melayu Malaysia), also known as Standard Malay (Malay: ''Bahasa Melayu Standard''), ( English translation: Malaysian language), or simply Malay, is a standardized form of the Malay language used in Malaysia (as opposed to the variety used in Indonesia, which is referred to as the "Indonesian" language). Malaysian Chinese (; Malay: ''Orang Cina Malaysia''), alternatively Chinese Malaysians, are Malaysian citizens of Han Chinese descent. The Democratic Action Party (abbreviation: DAP; ms, Parti Tindakan Demokratik; ; ta, ஜனநாயக செயல் கட்சி) is a Centre-left politics, centre-left social democracy, social democratic political party in Malaysia. David Nga Kor Ming (; born 11 November 1972), is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Local Government Development in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022. Ko Chung Sen
Dr. Ko Chung Sen (; born 1968) is a Malaysian surgeon and politician of Chinese descent. He was the Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for Kepayang from 2018 to 2022. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. A surgeon by profession, he received BAO ''cum laude'' from Trinity College in Dublin. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1999. Ko returned to Malaysia to work as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Penang General Hospital in 2001 and worked there until 2004. He then moved to Ipoh to work in KPJ Specialist Hospital and has been there since then. He was elected to the parliament for Kampar constituency in the 2013 election.
