Kazem Jalali
Kazem Jalali ( fa, کاظم جلالی) (born 25 July 1967) is an Iranian conservative politician and member of the Majlis from Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr district. In June 2009, he was the spokesman for the foreign relations committee of the Majlis. Kazem Jalali holds a PhD of political science from Imam Sadiq University, Tehran. Jalali was a senior member of Moderation and Development Party, but he resigned in 2007. Shahrood
Shahrood ( fa, شاهرود, also Romanized as Shâhrūd, and Shahroud; also known as Shârūd) is a city and capital of Shahrood County, Semnan Province, Iran. Situated about an altitude of 1345 m, it is located at latitude 36°25'N, longitude 055°01'E. The main launch site of the Iranian Space Agency is near Shahrood. It is also well known for unique types of grapes which are cultivated specially in Shahrud. Consequently, Shahrood is known as the City of Grapes. Although absent from earlier historical sources, Shahrud has become an important town since the 19th century because of its location on the road from Tehran east to Greater Khorasan, Khorasan. It now also is on the railway. A road runs from Shahrud across the Alborz mountains to the Caspian Sea, Caspian coastal plains in the north; it is accessible throughout winter. Ali Ardeshir Larijani ( fa, علی لاریجانی, ; born 3 June 1957) is an Iranian conservative politician, philosopher and former military officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, who served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Iran from 2008 to 2020. Followers of Wilayat ( fa, رهروان ولایت; ''Rahrovan Velayat'') was the majority conservative parliamentary group active during the 9th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran (2012–2016). Led by Ali Larijani, the fraction intended to become an official political party in 2015 to compete in the 2016 legislative election, however it did not happen and its key members allied with the Pervasive Coalition of Reformists. The Wilayi Independents ( fa, مستقلین ولایی) is a parliamentary group in the 10th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran, unofficially led by Ali Larijani. The faction was chaired by Kazem Jalali, who was succeeded by Gholam Ali Jafarzadeh. Though a minority with estimated 80 members, the group is believed to have an advantage in the parliament by shaping a minority influence situation. The Principlists fraction ( fa, فراکسیون اصولگرایان) was the majority parliamentary group that controlled the 8th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was estimated to have at least 190 members. It was a conservative group led by Ali Larijani.
