Kaushik Jamnadas Patel is an Indian politician from Gujarat. A former revenue minister, Patel was a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly from Dariapur (Ahmedabad) in 1995, 1998 and 2002. He is a trusted associate of party chief Amit Shah, having contested from Naranpur constituency which was vacated by Amit Shah. Gujarat (, ) is a state along the western coast of India. Its coastline of about is the longest in the country, most of which lies on the Kathiawar peninsula. Gujarat Legislative Assembly or Gujarat Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Gujarat, in the state capital Gandhinagar. Presently, 182 members of the Legislative Assembly are directly elected from single-member constituencies (seats). It has a term of 5 years unless it is dissolved sooner. 13 constituencies are reserved for scheduled castes and 27 constituencies for scheduled tribes. From its majority party group or by way of a grand coalition cabinet of its prominent members,the state's Executive namely the Government of Gujarat is formed. Nimaben Bhaveshbhai Acharya is a Member of Legislative assembly from Anjar constituency in Gujarat for its 12th legislative assembly. She previously served on the Gujarat family planning council.
