Kattegattleden is a 370 kilometer long-distance cycling route from Helsingborg to Gothenburg. It was inaugurated June 2015 as a cooperation between Region Halland, Region Skåne and Trafikverket. EuroVelo 7
EuroVelo 7 (EV7), named the ''Sun Route'', is a long EuroVelo long-distance cycling route running north–south through the whole of Europe from the North Cape in Norway to the island of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. The route passes through nine countries, and from north to south these are: Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Malta. Route In Scandinavia The EV7 starts in North Cape and passes briefly into Finland before going down the length of Sweden to Malmo from where a ferry will take the traveller to Denmark. Sections of the Swedish part of the route include the Kattegattleden. Helsingborg (, , , ) is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. Halland County ( sv, Hallands län, link=no, ) is a county (''län'') on the western coast of Sweden. It corresponds roughly to the cultural and historical province of Halland. The capital is Halmstad. Region Scania is the regional council of Scania County in Sweden. Scania County was formed on January 1, 1999, by the amalgamation of the county councils of Malmöhus County and Kristianstad County and some of the tasks handled by Malmö Municipality. The European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) is a Nonprofit organization, non-profit member-based umbrella federation of local, regional and national civil society organizations that promote cycling for both transportation and leisure. North Cape, Norway
North Cape ( no, Nordkapp; sme, Davvenjárga) is a cape on the northern coast of the island of Magerøya in Northern Norway. The cape is in Nordkapp Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. The European route E69 highway has its northern terminus at North Cape, which makes it the northernmost point in Europe that can be accessed by car and makes the E69 the northernmost public road in Europe. ''EuroVelo'' is a network of currently 17 long-distance cycling routes criss-crossing Europe, in various stages of completion.
