Katelyn Wasylkiw
Katelyn Wasylkiw (; born 1993) is a Canadian curler from Kleinburg, Ontario. Career In 2010, she was third on Chantal Duhaime's team, before becoming lead on Caitlin Romain's team in 2011 and then lead on Jamie Sinclair's team in 2012. Then third on Jaimee Gardner's team in 2013, second on Jacqueline Harrison's team in 2014 and then second on Brenda Holloway's team in 2016. From 2017–present she has been skip of Team Wasylkiw which consists of her sister Lauren Wasylkiw as third, Stephanie Thompson as second and Erin Way, formerly Katrina Sale as lead. The team came runner-up in the Listowel Women's Classic in 2017, losing to Cathy Auld's team. The team competed in the 2018 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, in which they lost all three matches. In 2019, the team won the Part II Bistro Ladies Classic. Jacqueline Harrison
Jacqueline Harrison (born July 28, 1978 in Niagara Falls, Ontario as Jacqueline Smith) is a Canadian curler from Waterdown, Ontario. Harrison currently skips a team on the World Curling Tour. Career Harrison's junior career involved reaching the semi-finals of the 1999 Ontario Juniors, winning the 1999 Ontario University championship and the provincial junior mixed championship playing third for future Olympic champion John Morris. After juniors, Harrison would win the Ontario Curling Association Tim Hortons Trophy with skip Vicky Hysop. She has also played in two mixed provincials (2008 and 2009). Harrison has played in eight provincial women's championships. In 2010, her Alliston Curling Club rink finished the round robin with a 5-4 record, and won a tie-breaker match to make the playoffs. 2023 Ontario Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2023 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held from January 23 to 29 at The Plex in Port Elgin, Ontario. The winning Rachel Homan rink represented Ontario at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship in Kamloops, British Columbia where they made the Championship round losing to Nova Scotia 7–6 in an extra end. The event was held in conjunction with the 2023 Ontario Tankard, the provincial men's curling championship. Both events are held together in non-Olympic years. The 2022 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario was held April 7 to 10, 2022 at the Thornhill Club in Thornhill, Ontario. The event was originally going to be held from January 5 to 9 2022, but on January 3, following new COVID-19 regulations implemented by the province, CurlON decided to suspend the event. The winning team would have represented Ontario at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to be held January 28 to February 6 2022. On January 7, CurlON announced that Team Rachel Homan would represent Ontario at the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, unless Homan is chosen to represent Canada in mixed doubles at the 2022 Winter Olympics, with a plan to hold the provincial championship in April 2022. The 2018 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held January 10 to 14 at the Whitby Curling Club in Whitby, Ontario. The winning team represented Ontario at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Penticton, British Columbia. The defending champion Rachel Homan rink from Ottawa represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics, and thus will not have the opportunity to defend their provincial crown. Had they not qualified for the Olympics, they still would not have had a chance to defend their title, as they would have represented Team Canada at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Cathy Auld
Catherine "Cathy" Auld (born December 3, 1971) is a Canadian curler from Toronto. She currently skips her own team out of Thornhill, Ontario. Career Auld was a longtime member of the Alison Goring rink. Auld played third for the team until 2006 when she was promoted to last rock thrower when Goring moved to throwing lead rocks. The team found success together with this lineup modification. At the 2007 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, they finished the round robin with a 7-2 record. This was enough to secure a playoff spot and they faced Sherry Middaugh in the 3-4 game. However, they lost the game. The team qualified for the 2008 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, where they completed the round robin with a 6-3 record. They made it to the playoffs, winning the 3-4 game over Janet McGhee and took on Middaugh in the semifinal, again suffering a loss.
