Karun Airlines
Karun Airlines (formerly Iranian Naft Airlines) is an airline based in Tehran, Iran. It operates cargo and passenger scheduled and charter services within Iran and to neighbouring regions. Its main bases are Tehran Mehrabad Airport and Ahvaz International Airport with secondary bases at Bandar Abbas International Airport and Isfahan International Airport. History The airline was established and started operations in 1992. In 2004 it officially became known as Iranian Naft Airline. Owned and operated by the Retirement Organization of National Iranian Oil Company, it has more than 600 employees. In September 2017, it was announced that the airline was to be renamed as Karun Airlines. Ahvaz International Airport is an airport serving the city of Ahvaz, Iran. It offers flights to domestic destinations as well as regional international destinations, such as Dubai, Istanbul and Kuwait. Overview The airport is named in honor of Shahid Beheshti. Mahshahr
Bandar-e Mahshahr ( fa, بندرماهشهر) is a city and capital of Mahshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. Mahshahr has two universities. Islamic Azad University of Mahshahr and Amirkabir University of Technology, Mahshahr campus. Both universities concentrate on engineering programs, especially petroleum and petrochemical engineering. Shahid Sadooghi Airport
Yazd Airport ( fa, فرودگاه یزد) is an airport in Yazd, Iran. The airport lies 10 kilometers away from the city center of Yazd and serves the city as well as all of the surrounding counties. The Shahid Sadooghi Airport also serves as a part of the important North-South transportation corridor within the Islamic Republic of Iran. For administrative and census purposes, it is a treated as a village in Fajr Rural District, in the Central District of Yazd County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 127, in 33 families. The airport was established in 1970 upon 575 hectares of land. Yazd ( fa, یزد ), formerly also known as Yezd, is the capital of Yazd Province, Iran. The city is located southeast of Isfahan. At the 2016 census, the population was 1,138,533.
