Karl Bruckner
Karl Bruckner (January 9, 1906 – October 25, 1982) was an Austrian children's writer. Committed to peace, international understanding, and social justice, he became one of Austria's leading writers for young people. Life The son of a printer, Bruckner grew up in the Viennese suburb of Ottakring and became a motor mechanic. He began to write in 1946. He travelled widely. Austria
Austria, , bar, Östareich officially the Republic of Austria, is a country in the southern part of Central Europe, lying in the Eastern Alps. Ottakring () is the 16th District in the city of Vienna, Austria (german: 16. Bezirk, Ottakring). It is located west of the central districts, north of Penzing and south of Hernals.
