Karin Krappen
Karin Krappen (born 10 December 1973) is a former Dutch darts player. She is a former winner of the Women's World Darts Trophy and the Women's World Masters. She was nicknamed Dolphin. Career Krappen made her World Championship debut in 2003, losing in the quarter finals to Francis Hoenselaar. She went one step further in 2004, beating Anne Kirk in the quarter finals but lost in the semis to Trina Gulliver. She then suffered quarter final exits the next three years, losing in 2005 again to Hoenselaar, 2006 to Jan Robbins and 2007 to Apylee Jones. She reached the semi finals in 2008, defeating Rilana Erades in the quarter finals but lost to Gulliver once more. Krappen won the 2005 Women's World Darts Trophy, beating all the previous former champions along the way, defeating 2002 champion Mieke de Boer in the quarter finals, 2003 champion Gulliver in the semis and 2004 champion Hoenselaar in the final. Mieke de Boer (born 11 January 1980 in Maastricht, Limburg) is a former darts player from the Netherlands, who was nicknamed Bambie. Career In 2002 she won the Women's World Darts Trophy, beating Karin Krappen in the quarter-finals and then Francis Hoenselaar in the semi-finals before beating Crissy Manley in the final. She also won the British Open Ladies Singles the same year. A year later, de Boer was the youngest competitor at the BDO World Darts Championship in Frimley Green and reached the semi-finals, beating Linda Rogers-Pickett in the quarter-finals before her run was ended by Ladies World Champion Trina Gulliver. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam. Anastasia Petrovna Dobromyslova-Martin (russian: Анастаси́я Петро́вна Добромы́слова; born 26 September 1984) is a professional darts player. She is a three-time Women's World Professional Darts Champion of the British Darts Organisation (BDO). After winning her first title in 2008, Dobromyslova decided to join the rival male-dominated Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) to play in their World Championship in 2009. Carla Molema (born 30 November 1988) is a Dutch former darts player. Career In 2007, Molema became the youngest player at the Women's World Darts Championship, aged 18. She lost in the quarter finals to Trina Gulliver.
