Julie Gore
Julie Robin Gore (born 5 August 1958) is a former Welsh professional female darts player. Career Gore made her World Championship in 2008, losing in the quarter finals to Trina Gulliver. She later reached the semi finals of the Women's Winmau World Masters, beating Irina Armstrong in the quarter finals before losing to another Russian Anastasia Dobromyslova. Gore originally entered the 2009 World Championship as the number 4 seed, but following Dobromyslova's defection to the Professional Darts Corporation she was moved up to the number 3 seed. She was drawn against standby qualifier Rilana Erades of The Netherlands in the quarter finals and lost 2–1. In October 2010 she won her biggest title at the Winmau World Masters beating Francis Hoenselaar 4–1 and repeated the feat in October 2012, defeating Deta Hedman by a scoreline of 4–1 in the final. Rilana Erades
Rilana Erades – Honsbeek (born November 4, 1984) is a Dutch darts player. She used the nicknames The Dutch Dynamite and Pebbles for her matches. Rilana is still active in darts, but on a slightly lower level, she plays for the regional selection DBBR. Career Erades made her World Championship debut in 2008, losing in the quarter-finals to Karin Krappen. She had earlier reached the semi-finals of the 2007 World Masters, beating Irina Armstrong and Lisa Ashton before losing to Karen Lawman. Ann-Louise Peters
Ann Louise Peters (née Andersen; born 3 February 1975) is a former Danish darts player. Biography Peters learnt to play darts at the Gåsen club in Assens. She made her debut at the 1990 WDF Europe Youth Cup, where she won the singles three years in a row (1990, 1991, 1992); as well as the pairs in 1991 and 1992, and the team events in 1991 and 1992. She later won the Norway Open in 1993, beating Deta Hedman, and again in 1996 against Sandra Pollet. Her last major win before she stopped, was the 1999 Swedish Open where she beat Satu Ikonen from Finland. Unfortunately, she dropped the glass sculpture trophy on the floor. She has won the Danish Championships five times, in 1993, 1996, 2006, 2013 and 2014. Rhian O'Sullivan ( née Edwards; 20 January 1981) is a Welsh female professional darts player who plays in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). Darts career O'Sullivan was a quarter finalist in the 2009 Women's World Masters. She qualified for her first BDO Women's World Championship in 2010. She defeated fellow Welshwoman Julie Gore 2–0 in the quarter-finals, and Karen Lawman 2–0 in the semi-finals. In the final, she was beaten 2–0 by Trina Gulliver. In 2011, she again reached the World Championship final after victories over Gore in the quarter-finals and Deta Hedman in the semi-finals. She was beaten 2–0 by Gulliver for the second final in a row. In 2012, O'Sullivan was defeated in the first round by top seed and eventual runner-up Hedman. 2013 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2013 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 36th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 28th staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. Christian Kist was the defending men's champion, having won the title for the first time in 2012, but was knocked out in the first round against Robbie Green. Scott Waites, the third seed and pre-tournament favourite, won his first world championship by defeating Tony O'Shea 7–1, who became the first man to lose his first three BDO World Championship finals. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam.
