A tehsil (, also known as tahsil, taluka, or taluk) is a local unit of administrative division in some countries of South Asia. The decennial Census of India has been conducted 16 times, as of 2021. The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature.
