The Tipra Motha Party (TMP), also known as the Tipraha Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance, is a regional political party and previously a social organization in Tripura, India. The TIPRA is led by Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma. It is currently the largest opposition party in Tripura Legislative Assembly History On 25 Feb 2019, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma was appointed the President of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee. 2018 Tripura Legislative Assembly Election
The 2018 Tripura Legislative Assembly election was held on 18 February for 59 of the state's 60 constituencies. The counting of votes took place on 3 March 2018. With 43.59% of the vote, the BJP secured a majority of seats (36) and subsequently formed the government with Biplab Kumar Deb as Chief Minister. The former governing Left Front alliance while receiving 44.35% of the vote secured only 16 seats. Background The term of the Tripura Legislative Assembly ended on 6 March 2018. 2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly Election
2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly elections were held on 16 February 2023 to elect all 60 members of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.
