Karamunsing Complex is a shopping centre located in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It is one of the earliest shopping mall in the city, together with Centre Point and Wisma Merdeka. Sabah
Sabah () is a States and federal territories of Malaysia, state of Malaysia located in northern Borneo, in the region of East Malaysia. Wisma Merdeka
Wisma Merdeka is a shopping centre located in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. It is one of the earliest shopping mall in the city, together with Centre Point and Karamunsing Complex. Built in 1985, Wisma Merdeka was the first multi-storey shopping mall in the city with offices and parking bays. The mall was inspired by Lucky Plaza in Singapore and Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur where shopping was developing into an important part of the urban lifestyle. Shops had standard operating hours, there was more variety, it was air-conditioned and you could park your car in the building itself.
