Kanae Yamabe
is a female Japanese judoka. She started judo at the age of 6. Her favorite technique is harai Goshi. In 2009, she won the bronze medal in the +78 kg weight class at the World Judo Championships Juniors in Paris. In 2015, she won the bronze medal in the heavyweight (+78 kg) division at the 2015 World Judo Championships.

Harai Goshi
is one of the original 40 throws of Judo as developed by Kano Jigoro. It belongs to the second group of the traditional throwing list in the ''Gokyo no waza'' of the Kodokan Judo. It is also part of the current 67 Throws of Kodokan Judo, and classified as a hip technique (''koshiwaza''). Harai goshi is also one of the 20 techniques in Danzan ryu's Nagete list as well as one of the 18 throws in the Kar-do-Jitsu-Ryu martial arts system. Hokkaido

World Judo Juniors Championships
The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less.
