Tohar Butbul
Tohar Butbul ( he, טוהר בוטבול; born 24 January 1994) is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 73 kg weight category, where he won silver medals at the 2019 Judo World Masters and the 2021 European Championships, and won bronze medals in the 2017 Paris Grand Slam and 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division. Judo career Butbul started training in judo when he was five years old at Oren Smadja's school. On September 19, 2014, Butbul took part in the under 21 European championship which was held in Bucharest and won the bronze medal after defeating Nuno Saraiva of Portugal on the medal match. Butbul's first medal at a senior competition came at the 'European Open Sofia' in January 2016 as he won the bronze after he defeated Sam Van't Westende of the Netherlands. Varlam Liparteliani (; born 27 February 1989) is a Georgian judoka. He has won silver at Olympic and World level. Career He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the -90 kg event and lost in the second round to Mark Anthony. At the European Judo Championships, Liparteliani won gold in 2012, 2014 and 2016, silver in 2009 European Judo Championships, 2010 European Judo Championships, 2013 European Judo Championships and 2015 European Judo Championships, and bronze in 2011 European Judo Championships. He is the captain of the Georgia Judo National Team and the Georgia Olympic Team. He is coached by Gugava Giorgi. At the 2016 Olympic Games, he won the silver medal. Jorge Ivayr Rodrigues da Fonseca (born 30 October 1992) is a Santomean-born Portuguese judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 100 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Lukáš Krpálek. Gwak Dong-han (Hangul: 곽동한; ; born 20 April 1992) is a South Korean judoka. He won the gold medal in the 90 kg event at the 2015 World Judo Championships. He is currently ranked No. 1 in the world (as of 8 February 2016). He was his coach's Song Dae-nam's training partner at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
